Welcome to Go Away Stay Here, a wonderful pet friendly Airbnb in Ma-Me-O Beach, Alberta, Canada!

While looking for a place for a short weekend getaway, we came across a cozy cabin named ‘Go Away Stay Here’ at Ma-Me-O Beach, Alberta. We’ve seen some photos and reviews of it on social media and thought it might be a good place to try! Located on Pigeon Lake at Ma-Me-O Beach, which is one of Alberta’s favourite white sand beaches, this cozy getaway is only minutes away from the Village at Pigeon Lake and an hour drive from Edmonton.

The first thing we noticed when we checked into the cabin was the large space! Wow! The kitties were thrilled that they had so much room to explore. The entire cabin was impeccably decorated and well stocked with everything we needed!

With 4 rooms and 2 full baths, the cabin comfortably accommodates 8 guests! It was stocked with games, books and records so that you can enjoy a wonderful time with family and friends! Oh, did I mention that there is a fireplace?

The large screened in deck was our favourite space! The kitties absolutely loved hanging out there, watching the birds and squirrels in the backyard. Speaking of backyard, we loved how spacious it was. You can easily gather around the firepit for some smores on a summer night! Kitty Mojito enjoyed her walks in the yard while taking in all that fresh air.

One of the main reasons we loved this cabin was that it is really designed to keep the guests, human and pets alike, cozy and comfortable. With luxurious bedding and bath amenities to using all natural cleaners and bug repellent around the property, one can tell that the hosts really put a lot of thought into everything. Keeping the kitties safe was our main priority so having an enclosed deck not only gave us peace of mind, but it brought Kitty Mojito and Lynx so much joy!

The cabin was also only a 5-minute drive from the Village at Pigeon Lake, a small shopping center which had all the essentials such as a grocery store, a couple of restaurants as well as some gift shops. So any last-minute shopping needs can be easily achieved here!

We definitely plan on going back again, maybe in the summertime so that we can enjoy the beach as well. It was quite windy this time around, so the kitties didn’t visit the beach.

We give Go Away Stay Here a big thumbs up! It is definitely the best pet friendly Airbnb we have stayed at so far and worth checking out!
