Welcome to another wonderful edition of Katdid Konversations!
I am your host, Kitty Mojito!
Today we are chatting with two lovely ladies from the beautiful city of Tenerife, Canary Islands.
Please say hello to Pelusa (3) and Melon (2)!

KM: Ladies, it is so lovely to meet you! How was your flight from Spain? Good I hope! So let’s start with your history. How did you come to find your human?
Pelusa: My humans saw an ad that said that there were some kitties that needed to be adopted. They had recently lost our other sister Picota, who sadly we never met, so they decided to get another cat because a home without a cat is just a house.
Melon: My humans were looking for a sister for Pelusa so that she would have someone to play and fight with. They saw me in an online ad and they were captivated by me.
KM: Wonderful! Now what is a day in your life like? What do you both do?
P & M: We love to wake our humans up early, to let them know we’re hungry and that it’s time for breakfast. If they don’t wake up, we’ll start meowing and jumping on them until they do! We loooove it, it’s lots of fun! Everypawdy should try it. After breakfast, we chill in our teepee and take a nap until we’re hungry again. And in general that’s pretty much what we do. We eat, sleep, and play. It’s a pretty tough life.
Pelusa: I’m a very active cat, so I love to climb things whenever I can. My favourite place to climb is the wardrobe because I can spy on the people on the street. I also like to climb on the shower, because I’m fascinated by it, although I don’t like to get wet.
Melon: I’m more chill than Pelusa and I looove to cuddle with humom and take long naps. I don’t get why Pelusa likes climbing when there’s no food on the wardrobe or the shower. I guess she’s a little wild.
KM: That sounds so relaxing! What do you REALLY think of your human?
P & M: Mmmm….. I cannot say too many bad things, because they’re the ones who feed us but I guess they’re alright. They have us on a diet now because the vet says that Melon is overweight. That’s so rude! The vet should look herself in the mirror before saying those things. We don’t love our eating schedule, but other than that we’re really spoiled cats. We’re living the good life.
KM: That is true. You don’t bite the hand that feeds you 🙂 Speaking of feeding, what is your most favourite kind of food?
P & M: We’re obsessed with tuna, wet food and pates. Every time we see our humans with a can of wet food, we go crazy.
KM: If you had to choose one toy to play with, what would that be?
Pelusa: One of those feathery toys with the long stick. Every time the humans show it to me, I get so excited.
Melon: A paper roll. It doesn’t matter what my humans buy me, I’ll always play with paper rolls.

KM: Hmm, both very good choices. The paper roll is always so much fun isn’t it? How would you describe your sense of style?
P & M: Mmmm….. we don’t love wearing anything, because we don’t need accessories to look gorgeous, although Meowmy sometimes makes us wear bow-ties.
KM: You guys! You must try out some outfits! I’m sure you both will look just fabulous! I will get my Mama to send you some bandanas! What are your thoughts on dogs and other animals?
P & M: We’re indoor cats, so we haven’t really met many animals besides our humans, but we’re usually scared of the animals we don’t know.
KM: If you could make one wish, what would it be?
P & M: To have an open tuna bar. Eating tuna 24/7….. we’re thinking about it and our mouths are watering.

KM: Wouldn’t that be just fantastic? Wow! Imagine…. unlimited tuna….. OK, OK, let’s not get sidetracked. Do you guys have any special skills?
Melon: I just learnt to sit but I just do it for the treats. Other than that, I guess being super cute and getting away with anything.
Pelusa: I can jump up to places that you would think are impossible. I’m also super cute so I get away with anything too.
KM: Being super cute sure must have its perks! What do you value most in life?
Melon: Food, Pelusa and cuddles with my humans.
Pelusa: The coffee maker. I love marking it, although I let the humans use it in the morning. I guess Melon and my humans too, but after the coffee maker of course.
KM: A coffee maker? Pelusa, that is …ummmmm….interesting. Considering the political climate today, how do you feel about more cats getting into politics and making the world kinder?
P & M: We believe that the world should be ruled by cats so that nothing bad would ever happen again. We love that cats are getting into politics, because as we see it, we’re the future.

KM: We definitely are the future! I hope everyone out there got that message! Instagram is a great place to make friends. What do you like/ don’t like about social media?
P & M: One thing we’re impressed with is the kindness, love and support there is in the Instagram Cat Community. When Meowmy made our profile, she wasn’t sure what to expect and it has completely exceeded her expectations.
We’ve made so many furriends in the last few months and we’re so grateful for each and every one of them. Without Instagram, we would have never met so many wonderful kitties.
KM: Yes, the COI community is definitely the best! Do you have a special someone in your life?
Pelusa: Right now, I’m taking some ‘me’ time and focusing on myself.
Melon: Not really, although there’s a kitty named Bach who looks like me, and I think he has a thing for me, but we’ll see where things take us.
KM: Melon, a secret crush?? Oooh! How romantic! If you were to go on a date, what would that perfect day/night look like?
P & M: If you’re with the right person, it doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you’re together.

KM: Awww. that is such a sweet sentiment. You guys are just so adorable! What would you like to accomplish in the near future?
P & M: We’d love to rule the world as we said earlier, but for now, we’ll start by ruling our home.
KM: Do you have anything else you would like to say?
P & M: First thank you for this lovely interview Mojito! We’re so glad to have met you and we look forward to getting to know each other more. Also, excuse our English, because as you can see it’s not our first language. Lots of kisses.

KM: Pelusa and Melon, thank you so much for this wonderful chat! I’m so happy to have made some wonderful new furriends as you! Looking forward to getting to know you both too! And by the way, your English is perfect!

Hello dear furriends! Welcome to Katdid Konversations!
I am your host, Kitty Mojito!
I have an extra special guest here with me today all the way from South Africa.
Please give a warm welcome to Bizzy, one of the bravest kitties I know!

KM: Thanks so much for joining me today Bizzy! I am so excited to get this opportunity to chat with you! So let’s talk about how you found your human. Tell us the story.
B: My Mauwie’s tabby cat, Buddy crossed the rainbow bridge at the golden age of 23. She said she waited a while and when it was time to get another cat, she decided she wanted a “real” Siamese. She approached a few Siamese Registered Cat Breeders on the internet and she contacted my Siamese cat breeder. The breeder sent Mauwie pictures – I was 1 of 2 kittens in a litter. From pictures, the Purrents decided on me. When I was old enough to leave the Cattery (around 12 weeks old), I was put on a plane for a 3 hour flight to my new home in Cape Town, South Africa.
KM: Wow, you were so brave to travel so far all by yourself! Describe a day in your life.
B: Breakfast, morning nap, morning play, afternoon nap, afternoon play, afternoon neighbourhood leash walk, supper, evening nap, tv time nap, bedtime treat, night night sleep.
KM: What a busy schedule you have! What is your most favourite kind of food?
B: Meat! And more meat … chicken.
KM: If you had to choose one toy to play with, what would that be?
B: My catnip mouse. I bathe them all the time.
KM: Ah yes, the nip mousies. They are some of my favourites too! How would you describe your sense of style?
B: With a pedigree of champions and show supreme champions, I am posh.
KM: Indeed you are! Now Bizzy, you are a special kitty who has been affected by Progressive Retinal Atrophy also know as PRA. Tell us a bit about PRA and how it has affected your life?
B: I went blind at the age of two. At first, I would walk into furniture or run into walls but now my other senses are very sharp. If you didn’t know that I was blind, you would think I am sighted.
(FYI: Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) is a degenerative disorder of the retina. In case you’re a little rusty with your eye anatomy, the retina is the light-gathering tissue inside the eye that acts like the film in a camera. PRA leads to degeneration of the retinal photo receptors (the cells in the retina reactive to light). In cats, PRA can be either inherited or acquired)

KM: Wow! That must have been quite an adjustment for you! What would you like to say to the humans who have kitties with PRA?
B: Once a home is made safe for a PRA blind cat (i.e no unsupervised roaming outside and if the property is not enclosed etc) there is very little that is needed to keep a blind cat happy.
KM: That’s great. With a little planning, I think that more people will be prepared to open their homes to a cat with some special needs. What are your thoughts on dogs and other animals?
B: I have two dog brothers. They are my best friends. I call them my guide dogs. And birds, if I catch one (and I do – even without sight) I … will .. (sorry birdies!) … I eat them.
KM: You….. EAT…. the birdies ?? (falls off the chair!) …. Oh I’m so sorry, I don’t know what gotten into me there…. (clears throat!) … If you could make one wish, what would it be?
B: To have on demand laps 24/7. I love lap time.
KM: Do you have any special skills?
B: Yes, I enjoy walking on the washing line. I started the balancing act when I was still a sighted cat. Mauwie has to help me down.
KM: That is amazing! It takes a lot of skill to walk on a line! You are indeed very talented! What do you value most in life?
B: Sunny days.
KM: I love sunny days too!! It’s my favourite kind of day! Considering the political climate today, wow do you feel about more cats getting into politics and making the world kinder?
B: No comments – I am not into politics.
KM: Ok fair enough. Instagram is a great place to make friends. What do you like/ don’t like about social media?
B: Mauwie is my social media secretary and she says there are not enough hours in the day to be 100% involved with my account. It is a pity because I know if she was better at time management, she could be more involved. Humons!
KM: Tell me about it! I tell my Mama to keep up with IG, especially now that she is not working. I mean, why bother looking for work when she can spend all her time with me right? Do you have a special someone in your life?
B: My special someone is my family – My purrents. My Pauwie is very calm and he speaks to me in a gentle voice but when he says “off the table” I listen because he has that tone in his voice. Mauwie is a pushover. When I yell, she comes running! She picks me up, gives me treats and belly rubs. She changes my litter tray, feeds me and walks me. She is my slave.
KM: If you were to go on a date, what would a perfect day/night look like?
B: Date! Me! Pass … I am a bachelor boy …
KM: Oh Bizzy! Any girl would be lucky to date you! What would you like to accomplish in the near future?
B: A million people to be PRA aware.

KM: What message would you like to share with those kitties living with any health issues?
B: If finances allow it, get pet medical insurance to help with big medical expenses.
KM: Yes definitely. Pet insurance is so important! Do you have anything else you would like to say?
B: Thank you very much Kitty Mojito and Crazy Cat Lady Corner for this interview. It’s interviews like this that helps me spread PRA awareness with more cat (pet) owners.
PRA cats are born with sight but they go blind before the age of 5. Keep watch when you get a kitten and if you see your kitten bumping into the wall or anxious to climb down from places not that high, take your kitten to the vet for a check up. A blind cat can be happy with just a little extra care. During his first few months, help him adjust to his blindness. When I was diagnosed, Mauwie said some folk asked her if she was going “to put me down” – to be kind to me. Thank catness ! Mauwie said “No way! My Bizzy will see with no sight because he is a fantastic cat”
There is a feature about me in the Purrington Post blog – under their Inspiring Stories called-: A brave kitty called Bizzy.

KM: Bizzy, you certainly are a fantastic cat! Thank you so much for taking time to chat with me. I am very happy to be able to provide you this platform so that you can spread your message about PRA. I hope everyone who reading this will take time to learn more about PRA and how to help kitties living with it.

Welcome to another great edition of Katdid Konversations dear friends!
I am your host Kitty Mojito!
Today I am in the company of the beautiful and talented Stella, an almost 4 year old from Cobourg, Ontario, Canada!

Stella in a “Crazy Cat Lady Corner’ bandana
KM: Stella, I am thrilled that you are joining me today! Shall we start by talking about how you came to find your human?
S: Humom was looking into breeds with dog-like characteristics as Hudad has only had doggos in his life. Hudad always enjoyed watching videos of Maru. So when the time was right, they got me!
KM: Can you describe a day in your life?
S: I jump on the bed bright and early to wake up Hudad! I will lounge on him until he gets up. I eat my breakfast and watch the morning bird activity at the feeders. When Meowmy wakes up, I greet her and immediately expect to be let outside on my catio. Usually I have to wait for her to make her coffee and wake up a bit. Depending on her schedule, we sit outside on the catio for some time together. If she has to work, we play inside with my favorite feather wand toy before she gets ready.
During the day, I nap in my igloo until the humans come home. I eat my dinner promptly at 6.30pm! When Meowmy is cooking, I can be found watching her in the kitchen, begging for food. At night, I chill out with my pawrents while they watch TV, Netflix or play video games. When it’s time for bed, I am always called up to join them but I decline. But several minutes later, I sing them the song of my people, trying to get one of them (usually Meowmy) to pay some attention to me one last time.

KM: Your day sounds a lot like mine! I love to sing the song of our people too! It’s a great song!! LOL! So when your pawrents return home from a very long day of running errands, how do you greet them?
S: Whereever I have been napping, I always hear my pawrents’ cars. When they open the door, they can find me sitting directly in front of it waiting for them! I will hang around them and give them head butts and purrs.
KM: That’s a very sweet welcome! Stella, what kind of food do you like?
S: I love my BFF brand wet food by Weruva! There are so many different flavor combinations. My personal 2 favs are tuna & pumpkin and tuna & shrimp. For dry food, pawrents feed me Hills Science Diet Oral Care.
For human food, I LOVE shrimp and tuna fish from the can! I also like vanilla yogurt and cream cheese. On the very rare time Hudad gets KFC, I go crazy and beg for some of it!
KM: Oh wow, I love BFF too! And KFC! Have you tried the ‘Cats in the kitchen’ line from Weruva? It’s great! ‘Lamb Burgini’ is one of my favs! You must try it! What is your favourite toy?
S: I love my Karin SF kicker and feather wand toy. But there is one toy that forever has my heart. When my pawrents picked me up, I had this little blue ball with me. I always play with it! I also carry it around the house with me and leave it by the door when the pawrents go to work.
KM: Aww, how adorable! Now I know you have a pretty fabulous wardrobe. How would you describe your sense of style?
S: I am always oh so stylish in my Crazy Cat Lady Corner bandanas, Neemie Bows, Cat in Berlin and Furry and Fancy bowties and bandanas. I love floral prints and sparkles! To Meowmy’s dismay, I am not a fan of hats or wearing clothes.
KM: I think my mama will be very happy to hear that you love Crazy Cat Lady Corner bandanas! You sure wear them very well! What are your thoughts on dogs and other animals?
S: I am an only child kind of cat! I am curious about other cats and dogs in our neighborhood but I get quite nervous when they get close.

KM: If you could make one wish, what would it be?
S: For there to be more pet friendly women shelters. Not wanting to leave behind pets and not being able to take them along can be a major reason for not leaving an unsafe and abusive situation.
KM: For sure! That is something that every city needs. Do you have any special skills?
S: Hunting/catching/eating flies.
KM: Very impressive. The only time I see flies is if I’m sitting out on the patio at night! What things are most important to you?
S: I love quality time with my pawrents. Meowmy’s new job doesn’t give her a lot of hours at the moment so having more quality time and company at home during the week days is wonderful. Yes, I would normally just spend my time napping while they work but having a human around more often to play, pet me, let me out on the catio and chill out with me is the best!

KM: How do you feel about cats in politics? Do you think we need fair representation in office?
S: Well, Meowmy being an American talks about the going ons in the US with their orange President. I honestly could think of a few other naturally orange cats who could do a better job…ummm.. @punybear, Malcom of @the_furry_collective, Thomas of @3gingerfurbabies, @winksmeow or even Toothless Tigger of @holyhoneybucket! Maybe the world would be a little bit kinder and appreciate and enjoy the simpler things in life like sunbeams on the carpet, ribbons and twist ties.
KM: Oh those are some excellent candidates to replace the …um… orange person you talk about….. I think they will do a much better job in making the world a bit more kinder! Instagram is a great place to make friends. What do you like/ don’t like about social media?
S: I love seeing how bonds have formed between cats furriends and human friends alike. The amazingly caring Cats Of Instagram community show support for other cats and their humans during hard times of sickness or loss, follower milestones or birthday pawty celebrations. There are many philanthropic cats and humans who shed light on special needs cats, charities, organizations, fostering or injustices such as @mycatkyle @kittenxlady @eddie_the_lilac_lion or @yellowhatsforcats.
Social media can be frustrating at times too though. Hearing about pictures being stolen by other users, accounts being hacked or lost is not uncommon and it is unfair. And don’t get me started on Instagram’s whole algorithm business!
But despite that, the internet and social media platforms are a fascinating place to meet furriends from around the world.
KM: Do you have a special someone in your life?
S: Around Valentines Day, my furriend @lola_theexotic_showgirl set me up on a blind date with @iamliquidcat and it was love at first sight! He is a three year old, lilac colored British Shorthair. He lives in Paris with his humans. He is just so handsome and is just a darling. I call him my beau. Not many humans and cats know his real name and his secret is safe with me!
KM: Why Stella, I didn’t know you had a beau!!! That’s pawsome! I hope we get to meet this elusive hunk sometime soon! What is your dream date?
S: Mine and @iamliquidcat’s first date was so pawesome! It was in Sydney, Australia. We had a beautiful picnic lunch in Hyde Park, went to the aquarium and then to Luna Park and went on loads of fun rides! It was a dream come true!

KM: That sounds like a wonderful date! What would you like to accomplish in the near future?
S: The humans are taking me with them on their 2 week vacation to Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina. I hope to have a safe and stress free 15 hour car ride. Wish me luck! It will be an accomplishment for sure if I get through it.
KM: I wish you luck sister! I am not a fan of the car but Mama keeps saying she wants to take me on a cross Canada trip! Right! Like that’s going to happen! Anyway, do you have anything else you would like to say?
S: I love my followers on Instagram! I have met so many furriends who each have a special place in my heart. They are all so beautiful and handsome and have the most kind, caring and generous humans who share their stories.
KM: Thanks so much for chatting with me Stella! You are such a joy to talk to! Let’s catch up at the next pawty!

Hello Furriends!
Welcome to Katdid Konversations!
I am your host, Kitty Mojito!
Today we are taking a long trip to Saudi Arabia to talk to Fluffy and Aulie! These two cuties are a bundle of fun!

KM: Thanks so much for joining me today guys! Let’s talk about how you came to find your human?
Aulie: One day, I came to my mom’s home with my previous owners and mom really liked me and I was up for adoption already so mom adopted me 🙂
Fluffy: My mom had a cat named Leo who got lost 😦 Mom was crying a lot so grandpa (mom’s dad) bought me from his friend who was giving me up for adoption.
KM: You both are very lucky to have found your mom! Describe a day in your life.
Fluffy: When mom wakes up, she goes to freshen up. There is a table beside the sink so I jump there and watch mom. When she is done, I start meowing so she says ‘yes baby yes?’ Then I go straight to the fridge in the kitchen and meow again for wet food. Our dry food bowls are always full.
Aulie: I show my belly in the morning with my tail up and while mum is petting me, I give her some love bites and follow her everywhere.

Fluffy
KM: So imagine that your mom has returned home from a very long day of running errands. How do you greet her?
F & A: By showing both our bellies!
KM: What kind of food do you like?
Fluffy: I love chicken and meat in my wet food and in dry food, my favourite is Friskies.
KM: Yes! I love chicken too!!! What is your favourite toy?
F & A: Fluffy feathers.
KM: Ah yes! Feathers! Aren’t they so much fun! How would you describe your sense of style?
Fluffy: I love wearing different bow ties and I love buying new collars.

Aulie
KM: Fluffy, you must try wearing bandannas! I think it will look great on you! What are your thoughts on dogs and other animals?
F & A: We have never seen dogs in our life! Or any other animal except birds!!
KM: If you could make one wish, what would it be?
F & A: We wish that no one hurts any animals ever!
KM: I wish the same my friends! Do you have any special skills?
Fluffy: I am really playful! I love to throw stuff down from tables especially at night.
Aulie: I look innocent but I’m not!! Haha! I hit Fluffy, run and hide behind the door and pretend that Fluffy hit me! I am smart!

KM: Ha Ha! Aulie, you are so funny!! What things are most important to you now?
Fluffy: I love Meowmy but I love also love to play.
Aulie: Mom and before her, I loved mom’s brother
KM: How do you feel about cats in politics? Do you think we need fair representation in office?
F & A: No one at home is interested in politics so we don’t know anything about politics.

Fluffy
KM: Instagram is a great place to make friends. What do you like/ don’t like about social media?
F & A: We really love IG because we do meowdling there and it’s so much fun!! We love to read comments from our lovely friends. We have met many cat lovers there!! What we don’t like is when people say bad things to us on social media:(
KM: Do you have a special someone in your life?
F & A: Our mom is a crazy cat person so, of course, she is our special person.
KM: Mamas are very special indeed! What is your dream date?
Fluffy: I’m spayed and I don’t date!
Aulie: I am too young to date!
KM: Do you have anything else you would like to say?
F & A: Thank you for taking time to interview us. Mom really wanted to share a photo of Leo (the cat she lost) so we hope it’s ok to share it with everyone 🙂
KM: You’re welcome guys! Thanks so much for sharing about your life! And sweet Leo, I hope you are ok where ever you are!
IN MEMORY OF LEO

It’s a beautiful Sunday today and what a great day to chat with some fabulous felines in another edition of Katdid Konversations!
I am your host, Kitty Mojito!
Today we chat with two handsome brothers from my hometown of Edmonton, Alberta! I am very excited to chat with them! Please welcome Gatsby and Earl!

KM: Hi guys! Thanks so much for joining me today! I am so excited to have you here. So let’s talk about how you found your people…
Gatsby: Apparently mommy was searching for an attractive grey cat and naturally she gravitated towards me! She saw me on the Humane Society website, rushed there and saw two ladies admiring me. Mommy’s heart skipped a beat as she thought they were going to take me away. The volunteer asked if mommy needed help and she demanded to see Tron. Eww that was once my name! She held me, told cat daddy we’re having him and the rest is history!
Earl: Is it my turn yet? Daddy wanted a friend for Gatsby. Mom and Dad were told Gatsby was socially awkward and was to be the only cat. Mom and Dad thought they had enough room in their house for another cat and decided to take the risk. Many times they went looking but didn’t find the “right” cat until I came on the scene. They had many failed attempts when they got to the humane society and cats were gone! Mom saw me and raced yet again to save me. Mom basically came to me, saw me for a few seconds and grabbed my details and adopted me! No chances were going to be taken! And of course I’m awesome!!
KM: Describe a day in your life. What is it like at Chez Gatsby and Earl? (Chez = Home in French)
Gatsby: Probably sleeping all day but we have this annoying squirt called Earl. Sometimes he bats me on the head when I sleep so I’m forced to chase him.
Earl: Oh Gatsby……. come on dude. Your life would be boring without me!
Gatsby: No, no I really don’t think so Earl. I really would have a peaceful day.
KM: Haha! You two really are brothers, all this bantering back and forth….. It’s very sweet! So when your human returns home from a very long day of running errands, how do you greet him/her?
Gatsby: If I’m lucky, I’ve probably had a nice long sleep! I get up, stroll over to them and get fed.
Earl: MOMMY and DADDY are home! Wooooo Hooooo!!! I run to the door right away! I love seeing them. I always hang out with the hoomans. I love them so much, especially when mommy strokes the top of my head!
Gatsby: I love them too! I just require to be fed first.
KM: I hear you! The hoomans can be pretty awesome sometimes! What kind of food do you like?
Gatsby: Did someone say food, are you going to feed me? I am a little more fussy than Earl.
Earl: Mommy calls me bottomless pit. I like to eat anything. In fact, I try to grab bowls with my little paw and pull them towards me. I try to take it away from the hoomans.

KM: I’m not going to feed you Gatsby! LOL! In fact, do you have any nomnoms for me that you may have stolen from the hoomans, Earl? Now that would be a treat! What is your favourite toy?
Gatsby: My favourite toy is my Dragon Fly. NO ONE plays with Dragon fly! I also like this Cat Dancer toy mommy got me, I love that thing!
Earl: Well apparently I’m never allowed to play with anything, Gatbsy is soooo annoying. I do like to chase small bouncing balls. That’s totally fun!

KM: Now I know your mommy makes beautiful things so I am guessing you guys get to try some pretty sweet stuff! How would you describe your sense of style?
Gatsby: I’m just a laid back, handsome dude! My mom nicknamed me “the lord” I am named after the film you know.
Earl: Fun loving, always ready to play.
KM: Nice, Nice…. What are your thoughts on dogs and other animals?
Gatsby: Earl and I both like watching birds, that’s a lot of fun.
Earl: Oh yeah, bird watching. Mom and Dad laugh because I get way too excited and chatter.
KM: Ah Yes! Birds! Our favourite treat! ….. umm…. I mean…. to watch…. I mean…..watching! I only watch! …… If you could make one wish, what would it be?
Gatsby: For all cats to be neutered! There are far too many in the world that need rescuing. It’s a topic that mommy is passionate about and she wishes she could adopt more of us but there is only so much one person can do!
Earl: Mommy would also like the declawing of cats to be stopped. There is no need for it and I really like my claws!
KM: Yes definitely! I wish I had my claws too! But the evil people who had me before I found Mama took them off 😦 Do you have any special skills?
Gatsby: I have my sexy looks.
Earl: I’m an acrobat! My agility is awesome. Mom and Dad hate when I balance on the top of the stair handrail. It gets to them every time. He He!
Gatsby: You’re an idiot!
KM: Now, Now boys! There is no need for name calling! What things are most important to you now?
Gatsby: Food, did someone say food?
Earl: I don’t really think too much. I live my life with no worries and regrets.

KM: Oh Gatsby, there isn’t much other than food that you think about! And Earl, that is a good philosophy to live by! How do you guys feel about cats in politics? Do you think we need fair representation in office?
Gatsby: It’s important to raise awareness on cat issues and health. There are so many cats hoomans out there that do so much awesome work for us guys with no actual voices. We are all very thankful for your hard work and determination to change our lives for the positive!
Earl: I’m a little too young to understand your question.
KM: It’s ok Earl, You can answer this question 🙂 Instagram is a great place to make friends. What do you like / don’t like about social media?
Gatsby: We have made so many great furfriends on social media. We have had so much support, fun and we are so glad to be part of a wonderful community.
Earl: I just make it difficult for mom to get pictures of me. It’s a fun game LOL. We do dislike being followed then unfollowed! What’s that about?? We’re an awesome account! MOM, tell them!!

KM: Do you have a special someone in your life?
Gatsby: Mom, I love mom. Its because of her we live this amazing life. She and dad have made some awesome stuff for us. We have a catio, exercise wheel, toys, beds, cat trees etc. We love it when mom and dad make us stuff.
Earl: Sorry Dad, but yes we love our mommy. She saved us. Unless it’s dinner time then we love Daddy.
KM: Wow! You guys are very lucky to have such fantastic pawrents! What is your dream date?
Gatsby: To lie on Mommy’s chest and fall asleep while she strokes me. Bliss….
Earl: I’m not interested in dating at this time.

KM: What?? You two are so handsome! I bet the ladies are throwing themselves at you all the time! (Wink, wink) What would you like to accomplish in the near future?
Gatsby: To get some sleep without Earl annoying me.
Earl: Fame, I want to be the most famous grey cat…… IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!
Gatsby: Earl, that is so lame. .Really.
Earl: At least it’s better than just falling asleep.
KM: Do you have anything else you would like to say?
Mommy: I’ll take over this last bit boys.
Adopting Gatsby and Earl has really changed my life. I have never really been a cat person and Gatsby and Earl have changed both mine and my husband’s hearts. I’ve become an advocate on many issues, creating a podcast which is searchable via itunes (The Adopted Cat), a YouTube account and many other social media accounts. If you can, please, please, please adopt and don’t purchase your pet. I find that with adoption of an animal, they seem to come to you with even more love. Some of the rescues have been through a terrible time. If you’re thinking of a second cat, go for it. If you research well and not rush, you will receive the same level of success that I have with my two boys.
KM: That was lovely, Meowmy Cassie! Thank you so much for saving Gatsby and Earl!
